Is there any crime worse than one that leads to the conviction of another? There is no way to determine the light within Brand-Shei's heart, but one does know that he was very much innocent of today's arrest. Brynjolf, the Nord behind these ridiculous antics, laughed and drank with these others vermin until he fell asleep right at his table. Ra'Keesh on the other paw, feels guilt too heavy to put aside for sleep.

Ra'Keesh 009
Caught by the tail. Crossing past that makeshift tavern it seems that the residents are not quite as oblivious as it seems. A smile in the front, a dagger in the back, these are not the same rats that live outside this cistern. It seems that there were in fact eyes watching this one during the quest for Draven's bow, and with the use of mail most dark, they wish to obtain this one's service. A foul deed is set forth, but when the risk is death or enslavement, one does not have much choice...

Ra'Keesh 008
Bucket. Knife. Book. Inkpot. Stone. Against all the better judgement, further along the rat's path one found some troubled souls skulking in the deep darkness. Before the chef's cleaver chased the cat out of the house, Ra'Keesh spoke with a former Imperial soldier by the name of Salvianus. Usually this one does not abide the company of any deserter, but there was no denying the trouble in the man's heart (not to mention the clear trouble in his head). He clearly was celebrated and held rank, yet it seems that there may be a thin hair between following in the glory and ending in obscurity.

Taking Ahkari's advice, this one infiltrated Riften through the sewers, made way into the Ratway, and found Dravin's bow within a marked chest behind a simple lock. There are lowlifes everywhere down here, and it is guessed that the one who keeps slamming his fists into walls is aware of a certain Khajiit's presence. It will be wise to lay low for a bit before making the trip back through the tunnels.

Ra'Keesh 006
On the way to Riften the caravan passed by a small farm where a dark elf man quickly made it known that he did not want any business. Taking it for the standard anti-Khajiit sentiment that is so often received, the others continued on their way, but Ra'Keesh, hearing something about a family bow, stopped to see what his issue really was. Turns out, a group of thieves recently broke into Merryfair Farm and stole the most prized possession of the man, who calls himself Dravin. This one, of course, offered to lend a hand in recovering the weapon for Dravin as it is known there is nothing more difficult than losing one's bow. Disgusting thieves, they are the reason all Khajiiti are shunned and forced to sleep outside the city walls.

Fortune flaps her uncertain wings as this one killed another dragon today. It flew down just as Ra'Keesh was fleeing a bounty hunter near Kynesgrove and it was beginning to look as if the sand was up. Then, to this one's astonishment, a traveling band of kin came to Ra'Keesh's aid alongside a hulking giant! United against the common enemy the group stood together and slew the dreadful beast. Afterwards the leader of the caravan, Ahkari, offered the bones of the dragon to the giant as thanks, and the hulk went back off into the hills. Ahkari then suggested that Ra'Keesh join the group on the way to Riften as the roads clearly are not as safe as they once were. This one gladly accepted, as it will be a pleasure to be around others that do not clutch at the purse as soon as they catch a glimpse of the claw.

Runt forgive this aberration, had this Angrenor not interfered he would still be alive. The challenge was between Ra'Keesh and Rolff. The old man dishonored himself by stepping in, yet this one is the one chased out of Eastmarch with a newly found bounty on one's head. Damn Nords and the backwater thinking. Ra'Keesh should have known better than to come to this land.

The Stormcloak, Brodir absorbed Mirmulnir's power... that was unexpected. There is more at work here than I imagined. I believe I have earned myself a drink.

Brodir 003
Dragonborn. After my final blow ended the dragon's life, I absorbed his power. And when I opened my mouth, the power that Ulfric used to tear Torygg down came forth. Where did this come from? Why do I have this gift?

Ra'Keesh 003
The party bagged the dragon! Ra'Keesh shot it out of the air and Brodir finished it off. Turns out, he's something called a Dragonborn. He practically ripped all the meat off of of the beast and then made a terrible bellow that blew this one out of these boots. Ra'Keesh is not sure how he knows, but Erasmus claims that this was not the same dragon that attacked us at Helgen. If that's the case, then there is more hunting to do!

A giant was attacking a small band of defenders outside of Whiterun this morning. I stepped in and quickly brought an end to it. The leader of the group was a woman named Aela, who led me to the home of her family of warrior companions. Most of them are worthless, but a few look as if they may help me gain strength.

I overheard some farmers in Ivarstead about a boy in Windhelm performing the Black Sacrament. How word has spread this far I can't imagine, but the blasted fool clearly doesn't understand the need for secrecy with this sort of thing. I wonder why the Brotherhood hasn't answered, perhaps there is some sort of risk here?

Ra'Keesh 002
Mission complete! Brodir and Ra'Keesh have retrieved the Dragonstone from the dreaded Overlord and are headed back to Whiterun to claim the reward. If this is the life of a true Stormcloak, then this is surely the life for Ra'Keesh.

Here Lies The Guardian
Keeper Of The Dragonstone
And A Force Of Eternal
Rage And Darkness
I don't know how, but I could read the wall. Fus...Force... rage... darkness. Why can I read this? Strange, but best not to dwell on it. We got what we came for, this dragonstone. I'll admit, the cat's all right in a fight. That last damn draugr may have had me if a few or those arrows had missed their mark. Still, this foolish notion of joining the stormcloaks... I'm not going to tell him otherwise, maybe let him take out a few Imperials before Galmar laughs in his face.

A resident named Faendal offered to escort me and a few of the other Helgen survivors to the city of Whiterun this morning after I helped him resolve an issue he had been having with the local braggart. Given the cut of some of the other companions, I doubt they truly needed an escort, but I've never been one to pass up an extra set of Bosmer eyes.
Once in Whiterun I offered to help out the court wizard, Farengar Secret-Fire, with the investigation into this dragon. However, after delivering alchemy ingredients all over town, I'm beginning to think that I might have been better off following Brodir and Ra'Keesh into that barrow or simply heading on to the College of Winterhold. Perhaps tomorrow will be more fruitful.

I returned the claw to the shop owner. A dead elf named Arvel had stolen the treasure to open a door within the burial ground. All I found behind the door was a wall with words I could not understand. I returned the ornament to Camilla. Perhaps Camilla could-- no, must move on.

Astinus 004
I got back to Solitude right as Roggvir was receiving our Raanhard treatment. I'm a little surprised to see they still went through with it after what we saw in Helgen, the damn fool would have been more than eager to throw his life at that flying death trap. A shame really, he was almost as sure for a coin as old Octieve is in the Bards' card game.
