Avis 001

17th of Last Seed, 4E 201

I need to get as much ground between me and those Imperials as possible. If I'm lucky, they'll assume I died along with everyone else.

A dragon, Kiaya. The beast razed the entire town in but a moment. How these others can sleep, I don't understand. The eyes stare back at me.

I'm going into the barrow just outside of town to retrieve some ornament. The reason does not matter. Must not rest, this land is not safe.

Shor's bones, it truly was a dragon. I've never seen-- it was just so massive. It must have been the work of that damned wizard, it appeared right as the axe was about to fall on the old man's head. Perhaps it's a coincidence and he did not summon the foul beast, but his presence here in Riverwood makes me uneasy. I plan to head to Whiterun at first light to tell Balgruuf of Helgen's fate, and put some miles between me and that Breton.

It would seem as if I have found myself back in Skyrim, yet there appears to be numerous more opportunities to have one's head removed or to be eaten by flying lizards than I recall from my youth. Be that as it may, after such an eventful day I have still found the fortune of having a comfortable bed bestowed upon me in this cozy inn, and at my age you must not take these things for granted.

Ra'Keesh 001

17th of Last Seed, 4E 201

The boys won't believe this when Ra'Keesh tells them, but it really was a dragon! Ah if only this one had been given a bow instead of shackles, Ra'Keesh would have been the first to slay a dragon since the second era! And these shackles... the empire was going to kill the poor Khajiit for that nonsense back in Falkreath - always sniffing around in places noses do not belong. The Stormcloaks have the right of it, but they'll need an archer of this one's skill to get the job done. Ra'Keesh, true prince of Rimmen, will bring peace to Skyrim before the Frost Fall.
